Wayne Liang is a Canadian entrepreneur, digital marketing expert, and business consultant. He is known for his e-commerce achievements, and the creation of Liang Holdings, a private investment firm. Wayne was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1996 and immigrated to Canada shortly after. He grew up and attended high school in Surrey, British Columbia, and later moved to Alberta to study Pharmacology at the University of Alberta. During his fre
shman year, wayne liang created his first e-commerce business: a social media marketing brand. His Instagram-based company grew to nearly 3 million followers in under 2 years through viral content. This was his opening to working with well-known brands, including Calvin Klein, Audemars Piguet, and more. Fast forward a few years, with the capital Wayne accumulated from his e-commerce ventures, he founded Liang Holdings with the goal of providing opportunities to entrepreneurs who lack project funding.
With his recognition on Forbes magazine, and becoming the youngest person to feature an investment firm on a billboard in Times Square, New York, he has gained an even larger global audience. Alongside Wayne’s business success, he has contributed heavily to nonprofit organizations that build schools in underprivileged countries around the world, including Ghana, Laos, and Guatemala. As for future plans, Wayne is most excited about pursuing space exploration and finding the cure to genetic diseases. Outside of his business ventures, Wayne enjoys traveling the world and exploring new cultures.
